Welcome to East Funen
Frørup is located 10 km outside Nyborg towards Svendborg, and is a small cozy village. Try a walk down to Regisse Kilde, which is a historical spring where people have made a pilgrimage to for hundreds of years, because it was believed that the spring had healing power.
There are good cycling and walking routes in the area, cycle route 50 right on the doorstep. We live only 5 km from the nearest public beach, Kongshøj Strand, which is also described as one of the most beautiful in Denmark.

Beaches
- Close by is Kongshøj Strand. A little further away is the idyllic town of Lundeborg, which has a rich harbor life and a beautiful beach.
Cultural experiences
We are located in a bit of a butter hole with cultural attractions within a radius of 30 km. For example. Egeskov Castle, Naturama in Svendborg, H.C. Andersen's house in Odense, Odense Zoo, Nyborg Castle, the Viking Museum in Ladby, the Fjord and Belt Center in Kerteminde, to name a few.
If you come from far away, we are nicely located by the Great Belt Bridge, and you can spend the night at Kildegaarden, on the way to or from other destinations such as. Legoland.
Local Food
In the area there are several local food producers such as Refswinninge Brewery, where there is also a sale. A Funen beer route and a Funen chocolate route have been created, where you can visit the various producers.
